Still, I Am Sailing Print

I love how the boat is carving its way, defining its territory. It's a brave little boat, leaving its mark amidst all the white. The boat is always me. And it's a happy boat, in spite of everything. The painting was inspired by art that hung in an apartment in Copenhagen, where we did a home exchange. The moment we got there, I noticed it - a very white picture, with a small, but prominent, Dalai Lama in orange. I immediately felt the itch to create a similar white expanse where my boat will be. As soon as we returned home, 18 days later, I did it. This elegant painting hangs comfortably on nails/screws, as the frame is thick enough to support them. Of all my paintings, this is the format I am happiest to reproduce, including with the color of your choice.
