Starting point concerning my work is the sensory perception. The daily astonishment, experiences in the direct surroundings inspire , even force me to report small and bigger occurences. While I walk I observe, collect materials, objects and sounds, draw, translate and play with their meanings. Megen and the river '' Maas '' give me the first source of information. My paintings arise in a process of work. Most important are the investigation and the 'translation' of (Duth) light (colours and reflections). Skies and horizo, space and tranparancy.
