This painting is two pieces of unstretched Double-Ply Belgian Linen Canvas that were left over from another project. They are not sewn together (as i cannot sew) but intended to be in the finished project. So they will need to be sewn together upon purchase if they are going to be stretched. Or, you can buy a larger canvas, stretch that, paint it a corresponding color and use archival adhesive to affix the painting to the stretched canvas. I have helped a local client do this with several pieces he has purchased. The lyrics are from a song of the same name I'm currently working on. I am particularly fond of this juxtaposition of styles and would like to bring myself to do more of it, but its hard to get in this vibe when the canvas is one solid piece, but also the two pieces separated make it harder to sell, so I don't know...

Main goal: I’m just trying to make dope art. 2nd goal: And hopefully one day make a living off it. Ive always been artistic. I just didn’t know you could be an artist as a job. I always liked to draw. My school papers had more drawings, sketches and scribbles than correct answers. I started writing poems/songs around 13/14ish. I tried writing novels and comics with my brother Ryan in junior high. Beginning of 10th grade I began taking a 3 hour Drafting & Design extra-curriculum class 5 days a week until I graduated high school, realizing although I love, appreciate and have a passion for architecture - it’s not a career for me.
