"Painting is a dance into the unknown. When the mind is still, the creative powers flow; a work of art emerges from the grace of the moment. For me, motifs such as landscapes, plants or organic forms are metaphors that open up a path into a transcendental space beyond the superficial recognition of what is depicted. In abstract and semi-abstract paintings, I explore the transformations and manifestations of being, inviting the viewer to immerse themselves in an dynamic atmosphere of living stillness, to establish a connection to their own inner self. Through the deliberate use of coincidences, gestural brushstrokes and expressive movements, I create an energetic presence in my paintings. Motifs are found and discarded, each picture is created in an intensive process. This dynamic gives the works vitality and power." Rani B. Knobel Rani B.
