Knarik Mikaelyan is an artist born in 1976 in Armenia. Being a member of several institutions she gains qualifications and becomes an artist – decorator, an artist designer of textile and light industry products. Later on she achieves academic title of associate professor in the field of Fine Arts. She is The Member of The Artists’ Union of Armenia. Knarik’s artwork serves as a tool to access her own desires for freedom and comprehension of this reality. Her paintings depict the mesmerizing power of life fragility. She finds deep meaning in her art as it helps her to communicate with her special child who sees this reality in a different and unique way. “Reality is subjective. And only the ability to express your own way of seeing it can build the bridge between the mother and such an exceptional extraordinary kid. My art is that ability. My art is that precious key to connect me with my child” says Knarik.
