I deal in my art work for graphics, painting and plastic relief images in graphic area I prifer litography technigue. As for the painting I use classic technology, acryl and oil on canvas. My work reflex the human experiens in the contemporary world, a world filled with the phenomenon of civilisation – new developments of the mathematical, technical and biogenetic character, a world whose base level rests on the principles of symetry, emmanace of light and energy, exactness and oscilation. My work comunicates with those who wath it trough purely graphic means – mostli linear using litography technigue. My painting as a whole represents a positive reflection of the world and human life. In my pictures and graphic prints I create composition aaand order, which is close to a create composition and order, which is close to a man, nature and space. In my abstract paintings I created a kind of force fields shaped by a symmetrically composed basic elements, lines and fields or by planar division of geometrical figures in layered grids. The paintings and the elements themselves are characterized by tension and sense of movement and energy. My artistic work reflects a world that is in common level determined by the principles of harmony, equilibrium and unity. Catalog text - PhDr. Jiří Valoch CSc. Kamil Mikel by himself emphasizes that his meeting Dalibor Chatrný, who was the schoolmaster of the Akademy of the Visual Arts in that time, determined all his creation.Their mutual dialogue gradually formed their using of the language of the geometry, which is the characteristic feature of the Mikel’s production, connected with the individual articulations of the colours records indeed. In the first half of nineties, the young artist mainly directed an attention to his graphical work above all. Especially litography was his métier as it allowed him the radical leaving of the whole composition and in the same time not giving up his characteristic expression. That’s why graphics with topics of various compositions of lines, mostly verticals or diagonals, in which various ways of stratifications could arise. Mikel´s geometry has never been constructive . Although the order plays the main role, the most important thing is symmetry. We can see the appurtenances of the identical and of the diverse. As the white lines in the middle of the dark area often occured in his litographies, we took them as the references to the light in the structure of a work of art.
