ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I enjoy plein air painting at the Oregon Coast. I traveled there one weekend in July, and it was an absolutely gorgeous day. Small waves lapped up against the beach, which I find to be a relaxing, simple pleasure. Most of Oregon's coastline has completely abandoned stretches of coastline. Places where you can walk for a while without seeing another human. I hope viewers will relate to those relaxing, simple days at the beach where the air is clean and the sun is out. This painting is painted with high-quality oil pigments and an archically-prepared gesso board.
