HUGO LOPEZ Was born in Bogota, Colombia, and graduated of the Department of Arts and Architecture of National University of Colombia, he holds citizenship from United States and Colombia, has been in professional architectural practice for over twenty years. During this time, Hugo always spent his free time in artistic activities. He practiced techniques such as drawing, Watercolor, oil painting, and portrait. Throughout these years, Hugo always hoped to dedicate himself entirely to his art. This finally happened 7 years ago, when he left other activities to practice painting full-time in a professional way. He moved to California in 2000 and his studio is located in Irvine, California, where he is living. His watercolors and oils have appeared in numerous group exhibitions in California and Bogota.
