Yusuf was born in England, temporarily lived in Turkey for a few years as a kid, and now lives in Shakespeare's town of Stratford-upon-Avon. The switching of languages during formative years became confusing for Yusuf and that's when he found his love of art. A universal language that everyone can understand. Having won school art competitions, and achieved an A in GCSE art, Yusuf moved away from formal education of art to a more self-taught approach. He used art as a form of escapism and relaxation to balance the technical side of his brain whilst studying Computer Science at The University of York. Since graduating, Yusuf began to refine his technique, selling his artwork through friends and family, visiting galleries, learning from fellow artists, and researching online. Having tried various techniques, Yusuf finds the most joy in producing acrylic, impressionist style artwork. As such, Yusuf has now begun his exciting journey into selling artwork online. The thought of creating artwork that others can enjoy is his main motivation.
