The abstract representation of a human figure in the painting shows two halves- the blue and the purple, depicting the basic duality in existence. The blue represents ‘pingala’ nadi or the masculine energy and the purple represents the ‘ida’ nadi or the feminine energy. When there is a balance between both the energies, an individual experiences a state of bliss, and the ‘sushumna’ or the central nadi is awakened .
