My name is Kate Grishakova. I am a Slovak artist. I create vivid, bright paintings in an impressionist style. Main motifs of my art are the world around me and my happy emotions. Through my paintings I reflect my boundless love for people and life. I was born on 21 November 1994. I started to paint as a child. I definitely can say that I have done it my whole life! My favourite art materials are oil colours and watercolours, but also I paint with oil pastels, gouache, pencils, acrylics and craft things. I travel a lot and I am always on the search for something beautiful, lively and transcendent. For me the meaning of life is life itself, in its uniqueness and unpredictability. I try to capture moments of beauty so I take paints and paper with me and create on plein air. I have been teaching Painting lessons in Bratislava since 2018. Now I concentrate on my artistic way and improving my skills in my own studio in Bratislava. In 2022 I became Co-Representative of International Watercolor Society (IWS) in Slovakia and Leader of Globe Young Department of IWS. In April 2024 I had my Demo on the most famous Watercolor Art Festival FabrianoInAcquarello in Italy! In May 2024 I was accepted to Slovak Union of Visual Arts and to ZVUZS (Združenie výtvarných umelcov Západného Slovenska)!
