"Symbiotic" Print

I have been working on a series that brings to mind the power of water and our connection to it. This large abstract painting was created using acrylic painting because it allows me to work spontaneously and intuitively. I am inspired by the expressive movement of water and often find myself mesmerized by the surf. I am not one of those artists who creates a detailed plan but rather prefer to dive right in (pun intended). I incorporate texture paste and/or super heavy gesso in my work to give my acrylic paintings more of the impasto effect you would typically in oils.
