William was born in the United States and grew up in South Florida where he started a landscape design company in early 80's. In 2010 William changed his professional direction and decided to study Fine Art painting. "Designing gardens is a living form of art and several aspects of this process extended to the art I create now on canvas". William currently lives in Stockholm, Sweden, working as a fine artist in his private studio at Vaxholm's Castle. "I have always had a lifelong affinity for Art and regardless of the situation, Art has been my overall goal to my work. My subjects vary from still life to Landscapes. Focusing on the importance of tiny details while reflecting on the space around the subject to capture the light. I especially love light and how it moves around a subject in soft, subtle and hard edges". "I will apply my life experiences along with my craft to create works that reflect my love of beauty, life and personality".
