The Exorcist was released on December 26, 1973. The film earned ten Academy Award nominations, winning Best Sound Mixing and Best Adapted Screenplay. It became one of the highest-grossing films in history, film was made at a budget of $12 million but it grossed over $441 million worldwide in the aftermath of various re-releases, and was the first horror film to be nominated for the Academy Award for Best Picture .
In the original movie poster, the priest or exorcist standing in front of the house was wearing a wide-brimmed fedora. However, I decided to draw a Jester hat instead.
Both the exorcist and the jester existed during medieval times.
Both has a wide variety of skills in terms rituals relevant to individual context.
Both, seemingly, put up a "show".
Both "shows" are entertaining. One is funny, the other , not so funny.
This is my creative concept for this piece of work.
The Exorcist has since became a pop culture. It is also my favourite horror movie of all time!
