ABOUT THE ARTWORK

THE TREE THAT BECAME A MOUNTAIN It is a symbolic vision of a tree, or rather what is left of it. The painting hides a story about a tree trunk that was broken by the forces of nature. And now, what is left of the tree has taken a form that resembles a mountain which in turn has allowed this tree to bloom in its beauty once more. On an emerald background, the mountain is depicted with natural earth tones: umber, ocher and beige varieties. We can also find dark bottle green and navy blue there. On the other hand, the accents of orange and green are very vivid spots that are supposed to give the impression of the beginning of a new life on a symbolic mountain. Short, expressive brush strokes and impasto paints contrast with the smoothly painted background. Both the theme and the colours are conducive to contemplation and relaxation. This big oil painting will fit perfectly into a modern interior and will bring a positive green energy to any modern home.
