Lottie Bland is an Abstract Artist that makes paintings in Acrylic & Ink alongside other mediums. She studied Fine Art at Falmouth University from 2012 and graduated in 2015. Since then, Lottie has pursued her passion for travel and experience, she has immersed herself in nature and different cultures across the world while documenting all with her perspective photography. All of this filters into her vibrant & provocative paintings. Inspired by the natural beauty of nature and the universe, Lottie uses the layering of colour, line, light and movement to portray emotions and snapshot moments experienced throughout life. She wills her paintings to provoke feelings and memories in the audience, to generate a sense of joy in the onlooker. Interested by expression through marking making, play and experimentation, she uses vivacious colour with fun and surprising materials to appeal to the inner child within all. As well as her paintings, Lottie successfully creates and sells digital portrait illustrations with a similar playful vibe in more of a pop art fashion.
