ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The tenth day of the month of Tevet is the day that Nebuchadnezzar king of Babylon and his huge army arrived at the walls of Jerusalem the Holy City. On the 10th of Tevet, the Babylonians began to lay a heavy siege on the city, no coming out and no coming. For three and a half years, the siege continued until the Jerusalem wall collapsed, the Babylonians broke in and took Jerusalem's inhabitants captive, destroying the Temple.
