The right side of a diptych. Be sure to look at it's sibling. These images evoke ... let's say vines. It actually makes me think of a gilly weed from Harry Potter if I'm honest. Continuing in my meditative series this image plays more with color. I wanted to create a background space that used contrasting colors that made the eye wobble a little. The idea is that they resemble water droplets on glass. Consequently, the image is a little trippy. I also decided to play with layering color within the stroke work to add dimensionality. As my work progresses, I find myself refining and finding new ways to expand my work. This is one of them. The idea behind this came from the concept of a artesian well, or a geyser gushing up. The gold, as usual is to make it feel a little high tone. You're welcome.

Currently I study Art History at ASU and teach art online while producing abstract and landscape pieces.
