ABOUT THE ARTWORK
During my artist residency at Koh Phangan Island in Thailand, one of the best impressions was Thai food. Thai food is very delicious and spicy. Fruits like dragon fruit, papaya, passion fruit are also amazing and even bananas taste much better than in Europe. Thai lady depicted prepared one of the best Pad Thais I have ever eaten, and she did that with a smile, that is kind of a Thailand´s trademark. Also, this portreiture aludes to depictions of the Buddha wit his smile and the eyes that look down. The painting is ready for hanging.
