About The Artwork
Disney’s, The Pirates of the Caribbean, is the inspiration of this piece. The Black Pearl ship always pulled me in to the story as if I were there. I choose to place my rendition of the ship, center staged in the midst of a quickly approaching storm. The storm represents the trials and tribulations of life. The ship relates to the storm as we do in life. Riding life’s waves and sometimes, unpredictable journeys. Painted on a gallery wrapped canvas. Measures 40”x30”x1.5” large scale painting includes certificate of authenticity and serial number security sticker.

Being diagnosed as bipolar, I am inspired to use my emotions through my art, as a therapeutic resource. By doing so, I open my creativity to combine with an eclectic array of influences. Not only being able to freely express my thoughts and feelings but, to share them with the viewer as well.
