The Blue Wave Print

The power of nature unleashed on an ocean, the ocean giving way to the power releasing wave after wave, crashing down, changing colours from azure blues to green and Sandy greys, are the inspiration for this work, as challenging to paint as it would be to control the blue wave. I hope it’s viewers would be like myself taken to the foot of the wave, each experiencing their own individual journey of where the wave takes them. The chosen medium is acrylic, as I needed a medium with substance to suit the subject. Palette Knife, my fingers, brush and some paint throwing touched the canvas, a great combination when interpreting the seas energy.
