The Bridge of Stars Print

This work digs deep into me. It represents a bridge that was constructed with the rubble of a destroyed dam. In fact, the Bridge connects Komnyon to the Pars Orientem Orientis. Instead, the ancient barrier, the "Lascàgiri Dam", was meant to bury an ancient settlement and offer refuge for a fugitive duke, Laudomio "The Young" of house Cheggiareni, who was actively persecuted by other noble families but secretly kept alive by the Highest Envoy of the Crowned, Hobeyrst Mhyssoy. After Laudomio was brought back into Yesharon and back to safety, the construction of the dam was officially abandoned and in its stead the bridge was built. This painting combines watercolor and ink.
