Ieva Graudina is an artist born and living in Riga, Latvia. Since childhood, she was fond of various types of creativity (drawing, pottery, etc.). Then she lived with her family for several years in Siberia, where continued to study painting and pottery from Russian masters. Then adult life - university (Bachelor of Tourism Business), Master's degree (MBM), first the experience of her own business in the tourism industry, then work in an engineering company, family life, house, cats ... and creativity went into a far corner. But she still couldn’t live so for a long time, and went to an art studio to restore the forgotten skills in painting and so continues her development by painting every day. For Ieva each painting is smth. alive, containing positive moments, emotions, memories from her life, this is what she tries to put on canvas to keep it living in the artwork forever. Her main painting style is realism - flowers, animals, the sea, what is most beloved to her in nature. It is important for her to create only what she loves, to be sure to have maximum positive and love into her artworks. Although abstraction is also present in her works, it is more for playing with colors in a special mood. "I love to see and create beauty in my world. With my art, I want to convey to others my bright emotions, the positive that I put into each of my paintings. This is both tenderness and delight, sometimes silence or fire of colors on canvas."
