ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This painting depicts my fond memory of when the circus arrived in town. I recall being in my school classroom when we suddenly heard snorts and growls coming from the road. Our class was dismissed, and we were amazed to see elephants, bears, tigers, and lions in cages parading past our school. To enhance the visual appeal, I decided to paint the elephant on a larger scale, with the three clowns highlighted in red. This artwork serves as a sweet reminder of the cherished moments from the past, when the circus came to town in 1969.
