Frederic Cadiou is a self-taught French painter. His painting is mainly inspired by the landscapes of his native Brittany, or his memories of travels. He enjoys working with lights, shadows and harmony of colors. Its landscapes are devoid of human presence. However, the traces of Man are perceptible through paths, sailing boats in the distance, or architectural buildings. He works on several mediums: oils, acrylics or gouches.
