After watching her compete at the Tokyo Olympics I got in touch with Mexican diver and Olympic medallist Gaby Agundez in order to create "The Dive" an oil and acrylic painting. Art, for me, is not just a practice-it’s a journey into the core of human experience, sparked by over 30 years of self-taught exploration. Since relocating to the UK in 2007, my creative process has been transformed by the fast pace and vastness of the city, opening doors to themes of self-discovery, enlightenment, and the invisible threads that bind us all. My work thrives at the intersection of figurative, surreal, and abstract art, where each brushstroke seeks to capture movement and energy, revealing the unseen forces driving human emotion and thought. My art is more than an aesthetic; it’s a philosophical journey-a dialogue between spirit and form, a vivid reflection of our shared human quest for meaning and connection. Currently, I am immersed in three major bodies of work: The Bodhisattvas of the Earth, a series of large-scale oil and acrylic paintings, where I use the language of dance to express greatness in all people. The Olympians Series, transcends athleticism to spotlight the inner strength, perseverance, and relentless drive that embody the never-ending struggle for greatness within each of us. The Ceremony in the Air, an abstract series that playfully imagines an assembly being whisked into space, where extraordinary events unfold. This collection dances between the mystical and the whimsical, illuminating timeless truths, the threads of collective consciousness, and the mystery of interconnection. With much of my work primed for exhibition, I invite collectors, curators, and collaborators to join me in this ongoing exploration of the human condition. Insta musi_artist
