ABOUT THE ARTWORK

Wild Style Geometry. My goal is to achieve abstraction starting from graffiti and the use of the intersections between its letters, its intense colors and thus reinterpreting its traditional symbols. I am a dancer (Bboy) l and I started painting graffiti in 1995. I realized the similarities in the dance and the plastic art form. The graffiti lettering style is moving and has the same attitude as Breaking. I use that movement, that personality and style of the letters as a starting point to create the different shapes and colors.

He started doing graffiti in 1994 at the age of 12, being one of the pioneers of the 90s in Castellón. After more than 25 years of ephemeral works on the street, he began to make plastic work. After 3 years of studying Fine Arts in Valencia, thanks to his dedication to Breaking (Breakdance), he decided to take advantage of the opportunity and youth to work as a dancer and choreographer on TV and in different contemporary dance companies. He won different national competitions representing Spain in different international events. He created his own shows with which he travelled the world for more than 15 years of career. His artwork arises from graffiti. Intense colors, effects and a reinterpretation of classic devices of the traditional New York style. In his pieces there is a movement, a dance and a personality that is directly related to his experience as a Bboy. This movement is the starting point for creation through the intersections that the letters create and their interaction with each other to create the different abstract forms. The result is a meeting between abstraction and traditional stylewritting. Colors and shapes that emerge from that clash.
