“With my paintings I invite my audience to see how I see and feel how I feel. Like most artists, I simply aim to capture what I think is beautiful in this world and share it.” Bio:Jillian Mazur grew up in Long Island, New York. Her love of art began when she could hold a pencil and continued to be her focus throughout her education and career. Jillian opened a studio in Oakland, Maryland in 2011. There she created Appalachian inspired landscape paintings, commissioned portraits, as well as offered classes and lessons to children and adults. J.F. Mazur Studio, Oakland, Maryland, opened during the summer of 2011. From June of that year until it's recent relocation to New Mexico, the studio has offered over 10 different categories of classes and camps to nearly 200 students yearly. In May of 2016, after completing the Ryder Studio atelier, Jillian moved her studio and art school to Santa Fe, New Mexico. Dedicated to her personal growth as an artist and teacher, Jillian continues to work on landscape and portrait collections at her studio and attends seasonal ateliers in painting and drawing. Recently completing a nine month atelier in figure drawing and portrait painting at The Ryder Studio in Santa Fe, New Mexico in spring of this year as well as a portrait painting intensive at Stud
