Abstract and vibrant patterns are the subject of Sandaruwan’s paintings. His commercial paintings are mostly painted with acrylics because of the durability of the medium. However, he also uses oil paints, watercolors and mixed media. Sandaruwan employs a color palette and fluid style to capture the essence of his world. His great obsession with creating his own tools using everyday objects such as combs and a variety of different gadgets, characterize his paintings with abstract and elaborate textures.
