ABOUT THE ARTWORK

Since Dec 2018, I have been in resident at the famous doncaster Corn exchange along with a few other artist. This painting was born there when i was looking for a new subjects. it started off a self portraits but as I am bad at drawing, the collection gradually naturally gravitated towards my now recognisable flower heads. The flowers were inspired by Frida Kahlo and they look nothing like her flowers at all. There you know the full story. what do you think.
