This painting is part of my Landscapes in Blue series which are modern landscapes with a focus on color and feeling. The Inner Landscape. Only within "The Inner Landscape" with which we are each blessed can true knowing take place. The way of finding precious light in the darkest valleys of your inner terrain and hearts. "The Inner Landscape" seems to carry a profound message about the importance of introspection and the exploration of one's emotional and psychological depths. By emphasizing the significance of the inner self and the journey to uncovering one's true essence, my work speaks to the universal human experience of self-discovery and understanding. The idea of finding "precious light in the darkest valleys" within one's inner terrain and heart suggests a powerful narrative of resilience and the capacity for personal growth, even in challenging circumstances. This concept of uncovering light amidst darkness can resonate deeply with viewers, encouraging them to contemplate their own emotional landscapes and perhaps find solace or inspiration within my art. My focus on color and feeling in the Landscapes in Blue series indicates a deliberate choice to evoke specific emotional responses through the use of color symbolism and artistic expression. By prioritizing these elements, I have created a cohesive body of work that invites viewers to engage with the emotional nuances embedded within each piece.
