The korean artist The Jack has created a world of characters and iconography in his paintings, prints, videos and pictures. His alter-ego is a white rabbit with eye patch who develops his diversified cross activity. His iconic and simple character is in recognizable environments drinking from two main sources , The Western mass culture and traditional oriental aesthetics. In between these two worlds his characters, full of contradictions and symbols develop a cool aesthetic and vivid pop irony. Their flat colors and simple lines suggests a wide range of meanings.
