Welcome to our page! I am an artist named Anastasia; my husband Bryan is a talented engineer who supports my creative plans. We are a young married couple. I was born and raised in Russia. I currently live in the northern state of North Dakota in America with my husband. I always loved to draw. As a child, I was often seen sitting at a table with paints or pencils drawing a variety of children's worlds on a sheet of paper. But not only paints could be seen on the table. Books were my great friends from childhood and youth, and they determined my future education. Drawing always gives me pleasure in its process, and of course the reaction of people when they see the result of their expectations. I'm especially fond of the portrait genre -- it is like psychology on paper! Back home in Russia, there is an expression: "The eyes are the mirror of the soul." And this is true. I always try to see and convey the character and mood of a person in a portrait. How many diverse emotions can our face convey? Our facial expressions within a person? Truly -- its a whole universe! Also, I am very interested in ancient history and in the knowledge that the ancients possessed, which often do not fit within the framework of our modern worldviews. We actually often surpass these frameworks. It's also the direction that I want and try to reflect in my work. Once again, welcome to our page!
