About The Artwork
Painted on stretched canvas using acrylic colors. ready to hang. The colors have been layered using the technique of Barnet Newman. Inspired by Mark Rothko. The colors and the inspiration for the painting came when I was on a walk on the beach and a storm was approaching. I find the sky near the sea particularly awe inspiring before a storm or just before the night sets in.
