About The Artwork
A red headed woman, placed amongst some yellow tulips, which are growing up towards the blue sky. I painted this fast, without thinking, to relax – it's from my imagination. Her face reflects my feelings of journeying inwards to contemplate my anxieties and the way I live my life – launching myself into new scenarios with out thinking, risk taking and somehow landing safely. It's about spring time and the single tulip I have growing in a pot.
