ABOUT THE ARTWORK
In this painting I want to show the inner dialog of a woman and a man in the language of symbols. In a broad sense, human relationships are different and quite mixed in their nature. In this case, there is a fortress between the characters. This is to say that they are closed for each other without wishing to let somebody in the inner world. At the same time, numerous seashells over the fortress have the meaning of an air bridge of sympathetic understanding between those people.

Oleksandr Bondarenko was born on March 12, 1967 in Dnipro city (Ukraine). Oleksandr`s parents, Valentina and Alfred, having noticed their son being enthusiastic in painting, did their best to help him in his progress in the arts. In 1987, Oleksandr graduated from Dnipropetrovsk Art School. Then, in 1995 he got the diploma of Kharkov State Academy of Design and Arts. Nowadays Oleksandr Bondarenko works in the field of illustration and animation. However, painting remains his main and favorite occupation and passion.
