ABOUT THE ARTWORK

The work is inspired by colour. The artist asked the viewer to reimagine a life without colour and a place without colour. The painting suggests a way in which colour offers a direction to a place filled with imagination. Acrylic on stretched canvas ready to hang. Colours And Imagination Series: Colours and Imagination series explore how colour is use as a tool in human behaviours and a weapon against progress in the 21st century. Examining society's obsession and connection with using "Colour" as a weapon for division and being caught up in a socio-political tick box to reduce the human race's of is dignity. The series help to understand one own consciousness around colour and imagination because humans are visual species and respond to colours as a movement, as part of daily life, and obvious criterion in determining how people are evaluated and judged.
