ABOUT THE ARTWORK
I put this together from sketches on location. I watched these strangers passed by. I was inspired by Cezanne, Matisse and Diebenkorn. All the artist I looked up to when studying painting. It sort of transformed into a different style. I wanted to describe this urban scene, through my use of blue shadows and eliminating the use of black/dark colors.
