"The Swirl" captures a mesmerizing underwater ballet of koi fish swirling in harmony. Fluid strokes of turquoise, jade, and cerulean create a vibrant aquatic current that cradles the fiery reds, golds, and oranges of the fish. Ukrainian-Ditch artist. I was born in Kyiv, Ukraine, during the time of the USSR, and from my earliest memories, art has been my world. Drawing, sculpting, and painting have always been a part of my life. My first teacher was my grandmother, who, when I was just four years old, introduced me to oil paints and the magic of creating seascapes. Later, I had the privilege of attending children's art classes led by the renowned Ukrainian artist Tetiana Yablonska. As a teenager, I spent four years developing my skills at an art school for youth in Kyiv, deepening my understanding of form, color, and expression. I have received my artist diploma there. For the past 30 years, I have lived and worked in the Netherlands, where my artistic journey has continued to evolve. I find joy in capturing the beauty of seascapes, landscapes, and flowers through both painting and photography. Recently, I embraced digital art, a new and exciting medium that allows me to explore fresh creative possibilities. Inspired by the sea, animals, and nature’s endless wonders, I continue to experiment and express my love for the world through my art.
