ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The Terrors of Ice and Darkness II inspired by the novel of the same name by the Austrian writer Christoph Ransmayr. It tells the stories of the 1872–74 Austro-Hungarian North Pole expedition. This novel left a great impression on me. This is how this painting was created.
