ABOUT THE ARTWORK

I regularly visit Kew Gardens and was inspired to paint the amazing plants. There are many types of plants which are at risk of being extinct but for them being grown in Kew Gardens. It is a terrible thing that we are loosing so many species of plants and animals across the world. That is why I decided to show the beautiful Tiger in my painting among the plants at Kew. This painting shows many plants that might in danger. The orange and black markings of the Tiger show up in the green shrubs and plants. It is a very large oil painting on a deep edge canvas. It comes with a certificate of Authenticity #tiger #green plants #conservation of nature #inside the glass house #tiger conservation #kew garden plants #tiger in kew #kew gardens painting #tiger with nature #nature with tiger #plants with a tiger #tiger with plants #conservation of plants #inside kew gardens

My childhood was spent in Sussex where I developed a love of the rolling hills and country side. After Art college I moved to London where I continued painting. I discovered pastel painting a few years ago which I love for its brilliant pure colours. I found the light and rich colours of the South of France could be caught using using this medium. After visiting New York, where I had an exhibition , I was very interested in the awesome buildings and am currently painting a series of cityscapes of New York and London.Patricia is influenced by the French Impressionists.Working in oils and pastels, producing still lifes, landscapes and nudes of scenes that range from Twickenham to St.Tropez, Patricia's resulting work reflects the vibrant colours and brilliant light of the South of France.Patricia was recently made a member of the Society of Women Artists.
