About The Artwork

This peak is located just south of the Canadian border in Glacier National Park. It was inspired by a moonrise that took place in the cold months of February. The sun was setting leaving a warm glow of sun on the peak while the moon began to rise. A cloud hovered over the peak leaving a warm red cloud sitting like a crown on the mountain. It was a beautiful warming scene in the midst of a cold and bitter winter.
