Blake Drury born in Denver, Colorado 1983. From a young age and throughout adolescence Blake focused almost exclusively on drawing and watercolour. He attended the Denver Art Students League until he was 13 and was the Vice President of the National Art Honors society during his time at Military Academy. After moving to Guatemala he embraced oil painting and never looked back. During a short visit back to the United States he was invited to several group shows before moving to London, England for the next five years. It was in London where he was challenged to find his identity and define his style among some of the worlds greatest painters. He moved to France for a year to challenge his work and absorb the depravity of working in a Paris. After being commissioned and returning to London for a short time Blake is now back in Colorado and he is focusing on his original passion of still life and figurative work. His work has been collected in the US, UK, France, Germany and South Africa.
