This Dimitri is a native Balinese, which is why he is called Dimitribali to distinguish him from other Dimitris. He is an architect who graduated from Udayana University in Bali and has been practicing designing buildings for over forty years. Amidst his busy schedule at his architecture office, he creates pure art as a means to restore his energy or to calm his mind. He makes sculptures, paintings, or abstract photographs according to his current mood. In this pages, Dimitribali showcases his diverse range of artwork, created before the year 2023. His paintings mostly use acrylic on canvas, but some are also mixed with watercolor pencils, intense block colors, pastel colors, and others. These experiments are done on various surfaces such as paper, plywood, woven bamboo, and others. After the end of the COVID-19 pandemic, in the year 2023, he began to focus on a new style, which can be seen in his new collection called Dimitribali Newpainting. God bless you.
