ABOUT THE ARTWORK
DETAILS AND DIMENSIONS
SHIPPING AND RETURNS

"The Blue Figure" captures a body in fluid movement. Stripped of distinct gender traits, this contemporary figure becomes a universal symbol of pure existence. It rises from a geometric foundation of rhythmic vertical lines, reminiscent of the distractions and "noise" that can cloud our interactions...

Magdalena Piwko-Chudzik is a visual artist. Her practice focuses on the relationship between the body, memory, and experience, treating materiality as a carrier of inner states and lived sensations. She works with printmaking, textiles, ceramics, and painting, using different media as tools for recording what is fragile, ephemeral, and invisible. Her works are conceptual and multi-layered, leaving space for the viewer’s own interpretation. The artist is the recipient of the First Prize at the “Human Image Exhibit” (USA, 2023) and the Award of the Marshal of the Mazovian Voivodeship for artistic achievements and contribution to the development of culture (2024). She is a graduate of the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw, where she obtained a Master of Fine Arts degree with honors in printmaking, completing an additional diploma annex in painting. Her works have been presented in national and international exhibitions and are held in private collections.
