My imagination, taste and vision of three-dimensionality have for years been the basis of the work I have done for others in the world in terms of set design, design and fashion. In 2012, after two years of cohabitation with my "guardian angel," a profound and unexpected change took place in me, propelling me into a vortex of inspirations filled with Love. Abandoning all that I had done till that moment, letting go of what was no longer, almost as if it were a challenge with myself, I let my heart speak free of any constraint or requirement of others, allowing my hands to realize what the inner heart was telling to me. The beginning of this new path manifested itself in the creation of unique objects of light: perfect wooden cubes, sometimes using imperfect woods, discovered in different parts of the world. The light illuminates more their interior, rather than highlighting their surroundings. In my creative vision, I wanted to materialize the keeper of the inner light present in each of us, giving it a three-dimensional form and presence, which could best represent the material time-space in which we live. "Light cubed" is the name I have chosen for the collection of these lightning objects; together with them I began my inner journey, a kind of personal awakening in which I recognized, more than anything else, the desire to share and represent all that multiple vibrations that surround us daily, and of which the humanity we are is made of. Being able to communicate my deep feelings, including through painting, was the consequence of a natural process, even if at the time of realization it was a kind of expression that I did not know, that I had never represented. In 2018 I began painting continuous harmonic lines, edges free and on wooden bases, without ever using color. Morning coffee, India ink and a few brushes were, and still are, my rudiments, tools and materials. Just like an authentic "non-painter." The lines I paint form bodies that resemble, seemingly, human likenesses, but which I personally read, first and foremost, as continuous and different vibrations, vibrations that humanity emits at every moment, but probably cannot recognize. The free lines, interlocking, repeating and deforming, coexisting in their oneness as a whole, concealing multiple and diverse forms and situations: sometimes tragic, sometimes ethereal, often unexpected, but equally guardians of a message.
