This artwork is a style that the artist began in the 90s, but did not finish developing. The scene represented is a metaphysics of farewells, representing a character in a port watching a ship departing. It could be a sad moment but the scene is overflowing with very saturated color. All very close to Pop Art. A piece that the painter had kept for him like gold on cloth but recently made the decision to put it up for sale.
