I was born in Malaga, Spain, in 1961.

Since 1996 I live and work in Barcelona.

Painting for me has always been my learning tool, through painting I´ve connected with the background knowledge.

For a long time, I´ve extrapolated what emerges from painting itself to grasp life events.

In turn, phenomenology was the inspiration motif for what it would later come in return.

New methods and new understanding open doors to new processes, thus providing feedback.

I´ve put my capacity to analyse to the duty of deciphering, whatever those images were telling me. They were always beyond my expectations and the things they hid, always much more deeper than I expected. My philosophical grounding is based on that idea.

Attention: I´ve always thought this was the true fact. Now I´m evaluating it because I sense I´m getting closer to another way of understanding and explaining this artistic phenomenon.
