ABOUT THE ARTWORK
The painting is of the biggest cranes on Cockatoo Island in Sydney Harbour west of the Harbour bridge. It is one of a series of paintings I have done of last century industrial Sydney with the rust and slowly ruining timbers of this once vigorous and mighty industrial site.
