ABOUT THE ARTWORK
Sailor tattoos refer to a type of tattoo traditionally favored by sailors and the traditions that accompany these tattoos. "Old school" tattoos were common among sailors, depicting images like swallows on either side of the chest, girls in sailor hats, and pairs of dice. Sailor Jerry's work typified this style of tattooing during the early-mid twentieth century. After falling out of style for several decades, these stylized tattoos are regaining popularity again among young people, both sailors and non-sailors.[citation needed] They are particularly favored among tattoo artists themselves. This returning trend is also seen in the increasing popularity of traditional Sailor Jerry designs, nautical tattoos and even clothing printed with stylized sailor tattoo images.

My art formation most of all was influenced by art of the 20th century. Especially all that occurred in the European painting since the time of modernists. For creation of the paintings I use oil and acrylic, sometimes mixing technique, sometimes using only one. I Always draw on a canvas. I intentionally use bright paints and the exaggerated forms to give works the decorative effect which is well suitable in modern interiors. The main figures of my paintings are animals and birds. Copying infinite variations of combining co lours and forms of fauna I feel similar to the God. Besides in my paintings is always possible to see a set of symbols and codes, which solution I leave to the audience.
